The location of Hotel Mercier is excellent. It’s walkable to most places and the walk is most pleasant with canal views along the way.

We spent four nights at the hotel at the end of April. We stayed in the newer wing overlooking the courtyard which we liked a lot. After reading other reviews about these newer rooms being compared to a motel rooms, we were pleasantly surprised that for us there was no motel feeling at all. The room's glass door and windows faced the pretty green courtyard, there were lots of bird singing in the morning! We also enjoyed the absolutely gourmet breakfast with a variety of granola, yogurts, pastries and fruits. The kitchen cooked eggs and crepes to order. I recommend the hotel to anybody heading to Amsterdam. The location is perfect too. Close to everything we wanted to visit as well as the city centre and the train station.

Location was amazing on a quiet street in the middle of the 9 Streets with amazing shopping, food and right on the canal. Staff was extremely friendly. Rooms were clean and vibey but small with no windows

stunning! Should've taken more photos of our room. We were on the fifth floor. Had a wonderful view. Everything was very clean, customer service was superb. My parents had a room on the second floor that has stairs up to the bed that was a bit odd, they were able to switch the following night but just be mindful when booking if you want a one story room to keep in mind when requesting your room. Hotel has wonderful design, vegan restaurant downstairs is charming. The lemon sours check in are yum!

This hotel is just perfect for proximity to the central city. Breakfast is good. Rooms are just fine. The staff is very helpful. Lovely place to stay.

we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff. the hotel is in a very central position, which makes visiting amsterdam very enjoyable. the interior design is lovely, very stylish and chic! highly recommended!

The hotel is very central and in a nice calm road. Very stylish and chic, I loved the interior design. The staff is also friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast and cocktails. We will come back! :)

A beautiful hotel. We stayed from 23 to 24 December, we were given a suite and only payed 97€! The receptionist was super kind, the location was perfect, the decoration was so stylish and unique, and we loved the room. Good decoration, Nespresso machine, a Marshall speaker, super comfortable bed, good climate control, silent, and I could keep adding details. A new favourite in Amsterdam!

I stayed at Hotel Mercier for one night and was completely satisfied. The location is perfect, the breakfast is delicious, and the room was beautiful. I accidentally left my ear studs on the nightstand, but the staff helped me get them back quickly and very kindly. This really shows trust and excellent service. My wife and I stayed 3 nights in this lovely hotel on a trip to Amsterdam to celebrate 30 years together. On arrival we found our room decorated to help us celebrate. The room itself was lovely. Incredibly comfy bed and the entire hitel was spotlessly clean. The staff in the hotel were warm and welcoming at all times. Finally, the location was perfect. A beautiful, picture postcard part of the city close to everything but away from the noisier more touristy part. Wholeheartedly recommend.
